Who is Jon Lunger?

Jon Lunger is a Pennsylvania-based comedian, improviser, and writer who has been performing comedy since the good old days of 2012. Jon and comedian Glen Tickle are currently re-writing the entirety of Wikipedia via The Improvised Wikipedia Podcast (New episodes drop every Friday wherever fine podcasts are distributed).

You can currently see Jon perform as part of the improv teams Spitfire and The Flumplenarfs, each month at SteelStacks. He also co-stars with Matt Candio in the two man, pseudo-improvised show Spoiler Alert, which recreates movies live, on stage, in about an hour, as well as the paranormal-themed improv show “Aliens That Are Ancient.”

Lunger has created, starred-in, written, directed and/or produced a venerable crap-ton of shows at SteelStacks in Bethlehem, PA, including a game show inspired equally by the Christmas season and the end of the neo-noir serial killer film SE7EN, fancy improv shows about the internet, children’s books, and more, as well as The 60-Minute Unauthorized Harry Potter Weekend sketch comedy show. From 2012-2017, Jon was ¼ of the improv team ManDudeBro.

Jon studied improv at the Upright Citizen’s Brigade Theatre in New York City under the tutelage of Molly Lloyd, Kate Zelensky, Nicole Drespel, Gavin Speiller and more very funny people.

Jon teaches/coaches improv – check out www.steelstacks.org/comedy for a list of his upcoming workshops and classes.
